A holiday, on a friday is a great time to relax……good friday indeed. Thursday eve was spent in playing hockey and some other physical activities. So i slept early. A ‘ good friday  ‘ was in store. The morning started in a rather boring way with a T slot extra class. I slept for half the class, having just 17 members, with the prof reminding me twice, “shooankar is feeling sleepy”, in the quintessential bong accent. i came back at 12 and was told that the ‘whole wing’ is gonna go for a treat. Most of the wingmates had got interns and 3 of them had become BCs.

27 guys started from jam bus stop and reached the main gate in the insti bus, which was mostly filled by us. Professor Misraji(aadarniya) took attendance in the beginning. then started the singing and ‘pole dance’ with homo and chhakka entertaining people. Misraji, apart from being a nine pointer, is a budding enthusiastic photographer. A brilliantly captured pic of homo mid air by misraji..

finally all of us got a bus to vivek and then we walked to the hotel. the location of the hotel was, speaking in country hindi, in a khopcha, along with saravana bhavan.

We had a booking for 1 30 and arrived at 2 so had to wait for almost an hour for food. we split into groups of 19 and 8. Service in rangoli pathetic, espicially for big groups. The food was excellent, and more than  made up for the bad service. All of us had a unlimited gujarati thali. One problem was, since gujjus are famous for making all food items sweet, the food served to us in rangoli was way more sweeter that the sweetest gujju food i have ever eaten in gujarat!!

We left rangoli at 4. A lunch took four hours…. we had a great day with almost half of the 2006 ganga batch going for a treat for the first time……will cherish it for a long time…
